Why LIFT Ministry?
LIFT is our home group ministry at Calvary Crystal Lake. LIFT exists to help people Live in Faith Together. You’ll build authentic community, growing in discipleship, and pursuing Jesus side by side. In LIFT groups, you’ll find a place to belong, where real life is shared, the Bible is applied, and friendships are deepened. These groups offer fellowship, prayer, encouragement, and accountability as we seek to live out the gospel in everyday life. Whether you’re single, married, young, or older, LIFT groups are designed to help you grow spiritually, care for one another, and live together on mission for the glory of God and the good of His Church.
How We Equip
LIFT groups are designed to help you live in faith together in a real and meaningful way. Each week, in homes all through our cities, groups meet on Monday through Friday evenings from Sept through May. In LIFT, we equip you by studying and applying God’s Word together in a relaxed, relational setting. You’ll build authentic community where you are known, loved, and supported. You’ll learn to pray together, care for one another practically, and encourage every person to use their gifts and take next steps in faith. Most importantly, you’ll live on mission together as you love your neighbors and serve your city.
LIFT is more than a meeting — it’s a spiritual family where you grow closer to Jesus and closer to others. No matter where you are in your faith journey, you’ll find a place to belong, grow, and live out the gospel alongside others.
