Why Marriage Ministry?
Marriage Ministry at Calvary Crystal Lake champions God’s beautiful design for marriage—a lifelong covenant between Christ and one man and one woman in which both spouses experience deep love, intimacy, and growth as they reflect the beauty of the gospel of Christ. Through premarital mentoring, ongoing marriage mentoring, classes, and meaningful events, we equip and encourage couples so their relationships can thrive and flourish.
How We Equip
Premarital Mentoring
Premarital Mentoring is designed to equip newly-engaged couples to walk through this covenant life with grace. Marriage is not meant to be figured out alone. Just as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17), having mature believers pour into your relationship helps you build on the solid rock of Christ rather than shifting sand. Through honest and safe conversations, prayer, and practical teaching rooted in Scripture.
Marriage Classes and Groups
You can embark on an 8-week Christ-centered journey aimed at rekindling a loving relationship, realigning purpose, and reflecting God’s glory in our marriages! Before you decide, let us pause to celebrate that we are here. God has brought us together and is with us on your covenant journey. He has abundant blessings and good works in store for our marriages, and He wants our relationships to hold Him at the center so they can ultimately bring Him glory.
